When you make a reservation for storage at our facility, enter into a lease/rental agreement with us, use automatic bill pay or go online to make a payment on your account, make a customer service request or inquiry or otherwise do business with us, it will be necessary that you provide information that identifies you personally (collectively “Personal Information”). Personal Information may include your first and last name, mailing and physical addresses, home and/or mobile phone numbers, email address, payment card information, social security number, driver’s license number or other identification, insurance coverage information, your account number, employment history and any other information that you choose to provide that would allow us to identify you personally. Other information that does not identify you personally may also be provided to Park Place (collectively “Non-Personal Information”). Non-Personal Information may include your first name only (without your last name), birthday, zip code, demographic information, service or product preferences and similar information, as well as other information already publicly available and/or cookies and other anonymous information that may be automatically gathered through certain electronic technologies when you visit our website (collectively “Non-Personal Information”). We will use your Personal and Non-Personal Information for a certain purposes which may include one or more of the following:
- providing you with our storage and other services, doing something you’ve asked us to do or providing marketing, advertising and promotional information to you;
- responding to customer and potential customer inquiries and complaints;
- maintaining and collecting payment on your account with us and enforcing your agreements with Park Place; and
- accessing, monitoring, using or disclosing information for the purposes described below.
Minors should not provide Personal Information to Park Place, either electronically or in person. Park Place does not knowingly collect Personal Information from minors.
For security purposes, Park Place restricts access to Personal Information of customers to authorized employees, agents, consultants and subcontractors who have a "need to know" such Personal Information in order to perform their respective duties and responsibilities. We direct such persons to protect the confidentiality of said Personal Information and to use such Personal Information for Park Place business purposes only. Park Place’s website is hosted in the United States and is intended for visitors in the United States. If you are visiting our website and/or providing Personal or Non-Personal Information to us from outside the United States, you are acknowledging and consenting to the transfer to and processing of all such Information in the United States as governed by the laws and regulations of the United States and the State of Wisconsin.
